DStv Diski Challenge Wrap

Kaizer Chiefs 0-2 Mamelodi Sundowns

Mamelodi Sundowns prolonged their winning streak to five matches in succession following a 2-0 victory over Kaizer Chiefs to regain top spot.

A coolly struck free-kick from Thato Matli opened proceedings in the first half and dangerman Jerome Karelse put the match beyond the reach of the Amakhosi with the winning strike.

It is the Amakhosi's fourth loss of the season from eight matches played.

Orlando Pirates 3-0 Maritzburg United

Orlando Pirates continue to surge up the standings of the DStv Diski Challenge following a 3-0 victory over Maritzburg United at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Saturday.

It's also the Buccaneers third consecutive win, which came courtesy of a brace from Mohau Nkota and a finish from Boitumelo Radiopane.

SuperSport United 3-0 Chippa United

SuperSport United restored their winning momentum at home with a thorough 3-0 triumph over Chippa United, who came off a three-match winning run.

Selaelo Rasebotja put the wheels in motion minutes in the second half and Ryan Manning joined in on the act before Sibusiso Maziko rounded off matters.

Swallows FC 2-2 Marumo Gallants FC

Swallows FC failed to pick up two wins in a row at home to Marumo Gallants FC as an entertaining 2-2 draw in Rustenburg ensued.

Mnqobi Mkhize put the Dube Birds ahead at halftime before Sibusiso Nkosi had his penalty saved by the host but a quick double from Ntiyiso Bombi bailed Gallants out.

Nevertheless, Swallows snatched a draw following their first win last Sunday against Royal AM as Tiniko Sithole earned them a share of the spoils.

Stellenbosch FC 3-1 Cape Town City

Stellenbosch FC reclaimed second spot with a comprehensive 3-1 victory over rivals Cape Town City this time around.

Fuad Johnson's early strike set the tone before City levelled in the last two minutes whilst late efforts from Mervin Boji and Solly Khunyedi put the Citizens out of sight.

Golden Arrows 0-2 AmaZulu

AmaZulu finally picked up their first win of the season as their KwaZulu-Natal derby date against Golden Arrows led to a 2-0 victory.

Usuthu bagged the opener on the stroke of halftime through Nduduzu Phakathi before Lindokuhle Zungu netted the second late on.

Baroka FC 2-1 TS Galaxy

Baroka FC edged within the top-half bracket with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over TS Galaxy at their new Complex Arena.

The Rockets broke the lead through Ndumiso Xulu but Bennet Bobete's penalty before halftime levelled things and saw Boitumelo Nkhona net the winner following the restart.

Other result:

Sekhukhune United 0-3 Royal AM
