Kaizer Chiefs shrugged off their Soweto derby loss to Orlando Pirates with a 3-2 victory over Black Leopards at the Wits Football Stadium on Sunday.

It was Leopards who opened the deadlock early on from a strike by Matshakhatini, but Sabelo Radebe quickly put Chiefs level from the penalty spot.

Lebohang Lesako added the Amakhosi's third after halftime before Radebe got a brace, whilst Ntlakutso Rikhotso gave Leopards a consolation.

Cape Town City 1-4 Stellenbosch FC

A rampant Stellenbosch FC put daylights between themselves and rivals Cape Town City following a 4-1 triumph at the Malta Park on Saturday.

Debutant Antonio van Wyk struck either side of the half to claim a brace, with Roy-Keane Avontuur and another debutant Devon Titus contributing to the Citizens' capitulation.

The Rockets showcased their intentions from the off with the opener from the influential Siyabonga Sibanyoni, but a penalty soon thereafter from Bilal Baloyi drew United back level.

It was then left to a wonder strike late in the second half from Aphelele Teto to snatch victory for the Mpumalanga-based side.

Golden Arrows 3-5 Maritzburg United
