Kaizer Chiefs 0-1 Maritzburg United

Kaizer Chiefs missed out on ascending the top of the DStv Diski Challenge table after a 1-0 loss to Maritzburg United at home on Saturday morning.

Last week's Soweto derby win over Swallows FC brought the Amakhosi closer to the summit, but Zakahle Ngcobo's winner ahead of the second half dashed those ambitions by the Glamour Boys.

Marumo Gallants FC 3-1 Royal AM

Marumo Gallants FC took advantage of the Amakhosi's missed opportunity to go to the top of the table through a thorough 3-1 victory over Royal AM.

Gallants entered the match placed fifth on the table and a disappointing 4-1 loss at Cape Town City, as Royal AM missed out on top spot themselves following last Sunday's win at AmaZulu.

Sekhukhune United 0-1 Baroka FC

On-form Baroka FC made it two wins in a row with a 1-0 win over the new boys Sekhukhune United to go joint top with rivals Marumo Gallants FC.

Bakgaga Ba Ga Mphahlele's victory followed last Sunday's success over SuperSport United, as Khomotjo Lekoloane's winner gave Babina Noko added another loss.

TS Galaxy couldn't regain top spot in the Diski Challenge on Sunday morning as SuperSport United forced a 1-1 draw in Tshwane.

The visitors led the standings prior to the match and were backed to re-ascend the summit moreover when Mkhize broke the deadlock before Thalente Mbatha levelled matters.

Swallows FC 2-2 Golden Arrows

Golden Arrows left Swallows FC winless after rising in the final minutes to claim a 2-2 draw at the Dobsonville Stadium in the morning's other encounter.

The Dube Birds were set for their maiden victory this season from strikes either spell of the half, but a double from Samkelo Mzolo spared Abafana Besthende's blushes.
