Kaizer Chiefs defeated Marumo Gallants in the DStv Diski Challenge.

Magesi 0-1 Kaizer Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs bounced back to winning ways after a late 1-0 win over Magesi on Sunday morning at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

After a goalless first stanza, Chiefs broke the deadlock with 16 minutes remaining and that was the difference as they won their fourth game in five matches so far.

As a result, Amakhosi returned to the top of the table by two points, although they have played an extra game over second-placed Cape Town City.

TS Galaxy 3-0 Orlando Pirates

Orlando Pirates suffered their first defeat after they were humiliated 3-0 by TS Galaxy on Saturday afternoon at Sturrock Park.

Galaxy went ahead from the penalty spot with 17 minutes on the clock and the Rockets went 2-0 up on the half-hour mark after an own goal by Jabulani Mokone.

Galaxy sealed the deal with the third goal in added time.

Mamelodi Sundowns 3-2 Polokwane City

Mamelodi Sundowns ended their two-game losing streak after edging Polokwane City in a five-goal thriller on Sunday morning at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Sipho Ngqakabana, Thiamo Masisi and Maseko scored the goals for the Brazilians, as they won their third game of the season.

Stellenbosch 4-1 Chippa United

Stellenbosch won back-to-back matches for the first time after thrashing Chippa United 4-1 on Sunday morning at Idas Valley Stadium.

Faiz Abrahams netted a hat-trick and the other goal was scored by Liam Slade as Stellies went up to third on the log.

Sekhukhune 4-2 SuperSport United

SuperSport United's struggles continued after they squandered a two-goal lead to lose 4-2 against Sekhukhune United on Sunday morning at Isak Steyl Stadium.

Keenan Bezuidenhout and Thabang Makubo gave SuperSport a two-goal lead early in the game.

However, Sekhukhune responded through Ntokozo Msimango and Tshepiso Tshehla.

Samkele Sihlali gave Babina Noko the lead just after the half-hour mark and Soko put the maximum points beyond doubt in the dying minutes.
