RIP Thanduxolo ‘Yebho’ Ntoni

Chippa United have announced the passing of their kit manager Thanduxolo 'Yebho' Ntoni.

Ntoni was a dedicated staff member of the Chilli Boys and was described as loving and caring by those he worked with.

A former amateur footballer, Ntoni had an eye for talent and was influential in helping youngsters from the community to realise their dreams of playing in the professional ranks by assisting them to get the opportunities.     

The Gqeberha-based outfit issued a statement confirming Ntoni's passing:  

"It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Kit Man,

Thanduxolo "Yebho" Ntoni, who tragically lost his life in a car accident.

The circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking incident are still under investigation.

Thanduxolo was a dedicated and valued member of the Chippa United FC family, always ensuring the safety and well-being of our players and staff.

His commitment, kindness, and infectious spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Thanduxolo's family, friends, and loved ones during this incredibly tough time.
