Cape Town Spurs have confirmed a new signing after losing one of their key players to a season-ending injury.

The club have confirmed the arrival of defender Denwin Farmer on a short-term deal until the end of the campaign.

Farmer comes into the squad after it was announced that Namibian defender Lubeni Haukongo will miss the rest of the season.

"Cape Town Spurs F.C. would like to welcome Denwin Farmer to Ikamva," the club announced on social media.

"The 27 year old has been brought in to strengthen the team's central defence after Lubeni Haukongo's season ending injury.

"We wish Denwin well for the remainder of the season!"
