After several days of uncertainty, Simba SC has officially confirmed the venue for their home leg of the CAF Confederation Cup.

After a 2-0 loss away to Moroccan side RS Berkane in the CAF Confederation Cup final, Fadlu Davids' troops will now turn their attention to their home tie in the second leg.
The match was originally set to take place at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Tanzania but concerns were raised over the stadium's readiness to host a continental final.
Instead, the Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar has been confirmed as Simba's home ground for the final. The Msimbazi Reds played at the stadium for the home leg of their Confederation Cup semi-final against Stellenbosch FC.
"The Simba Club leadership would like to inform you that despite all the efforts made by the Government, Tanzanian Football Federation (TFF), and the club to ensure that our CAF Confederation Cup Final match against RS Berkane on 25 May 2025 is head at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, they have failed," the club said in a statement.
"As a result, the game will be held at the Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar as ordered by the Confederation of African Football (CAF)," the club added.
