Sundowns To Play TP Mazembe On April 5

Absa Premiership defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns' CAF Champions League return leg fixture with DRC Champions, TP Mazembe, will be played on Sunday, April 5 in Lubumbashi.   Read More: Motsepe Wants Answers Over Mudau Firing   The match between Masandawana and The Ravens was initially scheduled for Saturday, April 4.   Pitso Mosimane's charges are leading the encounter 1-0 after overcoming their Congolese counterparts in Pretoria a fortnight ago, through a late strike by on-form midfielder, Khama Billiat.   Information coming out of the Chloorkop camp is that the team is looking to leave early in order to acclimatise themselves with the weather and conditions in DRC.   A source at the club told the Siya crew that the team wants to make sure they win their away game.    "Yes, the game will be played on Sunday and the technical team has requested that they leave early for DRC so that they can be used to the weather and conditions there.    "You know it is tough playing in DRC especially against Mazembe as the conditions there are tough. That's why they want to leave early though the game is only on Sunday," the source said.
