Kaizer Chiefs' head coach, Stuart Baxter, is adamant that their CAF Champions League tie with Raja Casablanca is not over, despite losing the first leg at home.
The Moroccan giants left Durban with a 1-0 lead earlier this month to give them the upper hand going into the second leg, but Baxter believes that they have enough quality in their side to make a comeback.
Chiefs had the bulk of the possession in the first leg of their clash with Raja but were unable to take their chances, while the Moroccans scored one of their two shots on target.
Now, leading up the second leg, Baxter told the media, "I think the tie is alive. We see Manchester City outplayed at Barcelona the other night and they could have got 1-1, if you get 1-1 you can get back into it. Arsenal lost 3-1 at home but weren't dead and buried and probably should have gone through.
"Juventus went to Dortmund and won 3-0. I don't think that this tie is over and I don't think that Raja think so either. It'll be interesting to see how they want to approach the game, and I think their coach will have a headache there.
"We were good enough against them that if they come gung-ho at us then we can pick them off on the transition, and if they're a bit more cautious then we showed at our place that we can pick our way through and create chances.
"If they want to box then we'll fight, and if they want to fight then we'll box. There's life in the old dog yet."
