Mamelodi Sundowns coach, Pitso Mosimane, believes that his team's CAF Champions League opponents, Chicken Inn, should not be underestimated and says that they need to be treated with respect.
Downs To Decide Veteran Midfielder's Future
Sundowns will take on the Zimbabwean champions in an encounter where Mosimane's team are clear favourites, but the 51-year-old has done his homework ahead of today's clash in Bulawayo and says that he has identified their most dangerous players.
"We could not just sit back and relax when we heard we are playing Chicken Inn," he told the Siya crew.
"We have studied them and we know their strength. We know where they can hurt us and we will be protecting ourselves from their left back and central midfielder who are attacking players."
The former Bafana Bafana coach went on to discuss his optimism ahead of this season's CAF Champions League, saying that he hopes to go far in the tournament.
"Now that we know them we have planned against them and we will fight to come back with a win so that we start the campaign on a high note," he continued.
"I have only reached the group stages of this competition when I was with SuperSport United and that's not an achievement. I want to go further than just the group stages and the first step is very important and that's to win against Chicken Inn."
Sundowns are currently on a 15 match unbeaten run in the league as they look to continue their domestic form in continental competition.
