The Brazilians face a tricky match in the preliminary round of the competition as they are set to they take on Zimbabwean outfit, Chicken Inn.
The Amakhosi on the other hand, will face off against Volcan de Moroni of the Comoros, and Mosimane believes the luck of the draw was on Chiefs' side.
"We have been drawn against a very good side. In fact, I think our draw is tougher than Chiefs'," Mosimane said on Downs' official website.
"Chicken Inn is not an easy team. They are a young team, and we signed Kuda Mahachi from them.
"We are doing our homework, but we also have held our pre-season camps in Zimbabwe the past two years.
"We are quite familiar with the environment and the stadium, which is more like Olen Park, the stadium Jomo Cosmos use in Potchefstroom."
Do you think Sundowns and Chiefs will be able to make it to the next stage of the CAF Champions League? Do you think either of their opponents could cause an upset?
