Kaizer Chiefs midfielder, Willard Katsande, has challenged his team to up their performance in this season's CAF Champions League after they failed to impress last time out.

Chiefs were knocked out in the first round in last season's tournament, and Katsande has expressed his team's desire to put in better performances this season, starting with today's game against Comoros side, Volcan de Moroni.
"In the past two seasons we haven't really done very well but this season we want to do better than we have in the past," he said.
The 30-year-old went on to say that underestimating their opponents today could result in disastrous consequences.
"We don't undermine our opposition because that could be our downfall. We have to win this first game and to do that we have to be serious and win today, " the Zimbabwean international said.

'Salt Vinegar' has made 24 appearances for Chiefs this season in all competitions, scoring four goals, which is the joint second best tally with Camaldine Abraw and one goal behind George Lebese.
