Kaizer Chiefs Player Ratings v Raja Casablanca

Soccer Laduma rates the individual performances of the Kaizer Chiefs players, following their 1-0 loss to Raja Casablanca. Here are the ratings: Brilliant Khuzwayo: 6 Looked nervous once again and was not fully convincing but could not do anything about the goal. Siboniso Gaxa: 6 Not the best of performances from the Chiefs full-back going forward and his decision-making was poor. Tefu Mashamaite: 6 Solid for most of the 90 minutes but questions will be asked about the marking for the goal they conceded. Eric Mathoho: 6 Much like Mashamaite, hardly put a foot wrong but could have done better in the marking for Raja's goal. Tsepo Masilela: 6 Hardly put a foot wrong defensively but did not get forward as much as he usually does. Willard Katsande: 6 Went about his job as usual, breaking up attacks but was ineffective when Chiefs were going forward. Reneilwe Letsholonyane: 6 Another lackluster performance from the Chiefs midfielder, who failed to help his side in the final third. Siphiwe Tshabalala: 6 Not the best of performance from Tshabalala, as his decision-making in the final third was disappointing. Mandla Masango: 6 A poor showing from the Chiefs winger, he failed to get beyond his marker and hardly put in any crosses for the forwards. Bernard Parker: 6 Parker struggled once again and was hardly involved in any of the Chiefs' attacks. Katlego Mphela: 6 Given a rare start, but squandered two good chances in the second half and was substituted late on. Substitutes: Hendrick Ekstein: 6 Brought on in the 73rd minute but failed to make an impact. George Lebese: 6 Brought on in the final 15 minutes but failed to make an impact: Siphelele Mthembu: 5 Came on in the final 10 minutes and squandered a glorious chance to secure a draw for Chiefs.
