Ernest Mtawali Says Home Ground Wins Are Important

Mamelodi Sundowns lost 3-1 to TP Mazembe on Sunday, losing 3-2 on aggregate in the CAF Champions League and exiting the competition.   Read: Sundowns Crash Out Of The Champions League   Former Malawian midfielder Ernest "Wire" Mtawali said that's it's important that teams win with a good goal margin at home.   He told the Siya crew that away games should just be to finish off the encounter and qualify for the next round and added that Sundowns will now be under pressure to win the league or the Nedbank Cup.   "You see in Africa it's very important to have a very good result at home," Mtwali said.   "If you score you have to score as many goals as you can and just wrap it up when you travel away. Not it's upon Sundowns to do very well locally and make up for that loss.   "If they don't win the league or Nedbank Cup that won't be good.  They are a superstar team and a lot is expected from them and winning trophies is one thing everyone expects them to do."   Read: Pitso: We Were Nervous
