CAF Champions League Report: Volcan Club 0-4 Kaizer Chiefs 14 February 2016

CAF Champions League   Result: Volcan 0-4 Kaizer Chiefs   Date: 14 February 2016   Venue: Stade de Moroni   Kaizer Chiefs thrashed Volcan Club 4-0 in the first leg of their CAF Champions League preliminary encounter on Sunday.   Amakhosi drew first blood only 10 minutes into the clash as Bernard Parker found the back of the net with a powerful strike from outside the box.   The visitors' lead was doubled four minutes before the half-time break. Parker was involved again, but on this occasion he was the provider as he sent a free kick into the danger area where Erick Mathoho was on hand to head home.   The centre-back completed his brace five minutes into the second half. This time it was Siphiwe Tshabalala who swung in a corner kick to find Mathoho. He simply tapped it into the goal from close range.   Just past the hour mark Steve Komphela made a change as he brought on Siboniso Gaxa to replace Kgotso Moleko. Sula Matovu and Siphelele Mthembu were also introduced in place of Shabba and George Maluleka respectively.   In stoppage time the goals kept coming as substitute Matovu netted the away side's fourth goal of the game to put them in a great position heading into the second leg of the tie in two weeks.   Here's how they lined up:    Chiefs: Pieterse, Moleko, Gordinho, Mathoho, Masilela, Katsande, Tshabalala, Baloyi, Maluleka, Parker, Abraw
