Mamelodi Sundowns were dumped out the CAF Champions League after losing 3-1 to TP Mazembe in their second leg clash on Sunday afternoon.
Ramahlwe Mphahlele had to be alert in the opening exchanges, as he made a timely block at the near post to keep Mazembe at bay.

The home side had the ball in the back of net in the 28th minute, but the assistant referee had flagged for offside.
Mazembe eventually broke the deadlock in the 36th minute courtesy of a strike from Rainford Kalaba, to make it 1-1 on aggregate.
It got worse for Pitso Mosimane's side, as the hosts managed to grab a second goal through Samatta just before the halftime break, which saw them take a 2-1 aggregate lead in the tie.
The home side were not done there, as Roger Assale popped up in the 57th minute to added a third for Mazembe.
Substitute Mame Niang went close to pulling one back in the 76th minute but his header went just wide of the mark,
Sundowns managed to pull one back in the 84th minute courtesy of a strike from Percy Tau, after being set up by Niang.
However, the PSL Champions could not find the all important second goal that would have secured their spot in the next round, as Mazembe won the tie 3-2 on aggregate.
