Date: 05 April 2015

Venue: Stade Mohamed V

Kaizer Chiefs' CAF Champions League campaign came to an end after they lost 2-0 to Raja Casablanca in their second leg tie on Sunday night.

The home side saw a lot of the ball in the opening stages and nearly found an opening in the 14th minute, when Yassine Salhi's inviting cross failed find a teammate.

Stuart Baxter's side nearly broke the deadlock in the 25th minute when George Lebese made his way into the box before seeing his effort deflect just wide of the upright.

Tefu Mashamaite came to Chiefs' rescue in the 32nd minute, as he pulled off a fine last ditch block to deny Mabide an effort on goal from 12-yards out.

Raja, meanwhile, failed to create any clear cut chances throughout opening 45 minutes, which had largely been down to the resolute Chiefs defence.

Chiefs were dealt a blow just before the halftime break, as defender Morgan Gould had to be stretchered off with an injury, and he was replaced by Eric Mathoho.

Chiefs almost found a breakthrough just before halftime, but a last ditch interception denied Mandla Masango who was waiting in the box, and although Chiefs regained posession, the ref blew the whistle for the half-time break.

The visitors were presented with another opportunity in the 68th minute when Matthew Rusike teed up Masango on the edge of the area but the winger's volley sailed just over the crossbar.

Chiefs dominated the possession as the second half went on but struggled to create openings but when they were presented with a chance, Masango had one too many touches inside the box.

Raja took the lead in the 87th minute, as Osaguona Ighodaro profited from Siboniso Gaxa's error and poked home from three-yards out.

Ighodaro wrapped up the win in stoppage time with a neat finish, as the Moroccans progressed into the next round, having won the tie 3-0 on aggregate (0-1 and 2-0), with Ighodaro scoring all three goals in the two legs.

Here's how they lined up:

Raja Casablanca:  El Allouch, Karouchi, Oulhaj, Belmkadem, Jbira, Kouko, Bamaamer, Salhi, Mabide, Issine, Ighodaro

Kaizer Chiefs: Khune, Gaxa, Mashamaite, Gould, Masilela, Letsholonyane, Katsande, Lebese, Masango, Parker, Rusike
