TP Mazembe secured their fifth CAF Champions League crown, after they recorded a 4-1 aggregate win over USM Alger.
Goals from Rainford Kalaba and Samatta handed the DR Congo giants a two-goal leading heading into the second leg encounter in in Lubumbashi.
Both goals arrived in the second half, with Mbwana Samatta bagging his seventh of the competition in the 75th minute when he converted from the penalty spot.
However, the victory was sealed in stoppage time when Samatta turned provider to tee up Roger Assale for the second goal.
Mazembe have now won a fifth Champions League title and will now represent Africa at the FIFA Club World Cup, which is scheduled to take place in December.
Mazembe will lock horns with the likes of FC Barcelona and Argentine giants, River Plate, who have already booked their spots at the competition.
In addition to securing their spot at the Club World Cup, Mazembe have also picked up $1.5 million for winning the tournament, while Alger have pocketed $1 million as runners-up.
