The South African national team will continue their quest for qualification to Russia 2018 when they take on the 2002 quarter-finalists and the former Sundowns player is anticipating a good performance from Shakes Mashaba's charges.
"I think we have some chance to do well," he told Soccer Laduma. "South Africa, at the moment, is seeing a whole lot of teams (in the league) playing well. I have a feeling that we're going to find Bafana at the top of their game. I expect them to do well, at the least."

Marumo went on to say that he thinks the form shown by teams in the PSL will have a positive impact on the national team's form.
"I expect them to do well and come up with the goods, because the players are scoring goals and they're going into the game with some level of confidence," he continued. "SuperSport put in six past Pirates… Sundowns are playing well, with renewed confidence, after winning the continental cup and, you can't say much about Chiefs, but their defenders are in good form at least."
