Molefi Ntseki's agent has provided some clarity regarding the Bafana Bafana assistant job.
New Bafana coach Hugo Broos told journalists earlier this week that he will have a local assistant but was unable to reveal the name.
On Friday night, Broos then revealed on SAFM that Ntseki will be his local assistant for the national side, but that was denied by the South African Football Association a few hours.
"Contrary to widespread news, SAFA would like to clarify to all football fans that the Association has NOT appointed any local Assistant Coach for Bafana Bafana. The name making headlines is NOT the Association's position. The SAFA NEC will appoint a local Assistant Coach soon," SAFA tweeted.
However, the coach's agent Thato Matuka has revealed that Ntseki has been offered the position but nothing has been finalised.
