The Strasbourg striker was recalled to the Bafana side by head coach Hugo Broos for the first time since 2019 as he was introduced at half-time against Namibia in place of Lyle Foster.
Mothiba had one of his challenging times at Strasbourg last season due to a knee injury that hampered his progress and with his contract running out at the end of the season, the 27-year-old was asked if he would consider coming to the PSL.
The burly striker says he can't rule out any possibility of turning out for a PSL side as he has plans to return to South Africa once he finishes his career in Europe and revealed which club he would like to join.
"Of course after my career I'm coming back to South Africa to live here. That has always been my goal. My focus for now is playing in Europe, I've never thought of coming to play here but you never know, anything is possible," Mothiba told journalists at Bafana's press conference.
"When I was here, before I left I was playing for Mamelodi Sundowns. Sundowns have been my team since I was young. I was playing (for their) Under-10, Under-11 but back then I was playing centre-back.
"But here in South Africa, my team, my home is Sundowns. I'm following them even that side, each and every time they play I'm following their games, I'm watching. They can play, a very good team," he added.
Bafana Bafana will be in action again when they host Democratic Republic of Congo on Tuesday evening at Orlando Stadium in an international friendly.
