His squad was full of many surprise inclusions, such as Maluleka, Itumeleng Khune and Thabo Matlaba.
Maluleka, who's enjoyed a thrilling 2019/20 league campaign with Kaizer Chiefs so far, last turned out for Bafana in 2012, while Matlaba, who's captained the Black Leopards side this season, returns to the national team after just over three years.
Khune on the other hand, who was left out of the 2019 AFCON squad due to injury, also makes a return to the Bafana set-up despite making just four appearances in all competitions for Chiefs this season.
Another positive Bafana return is Andile Jali, who's established himself as a key midfielder in Head Coach Pitso Mosimane's Mamelodi Sundowns' side, where he's also turned out in every CAF Champions League clash for the Brazilians in the current campaign.
Meanwhile, Golden Arrows' Gladwin Shitolo and Maritzburg United's Thabiso Kutumela has also been named in Head Coach Ntseki's AFCON qualifying squad.
