Bafana Confirm Venue For  Opening AFCON Qualifier

Bafana Bafana have confirmed the venue for next month's 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Uganda.

Hugo Broos' men were last in action in July after defeating Eswatini 1-0 in at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

Bafana will now take on the Cranes at Orlando Stadium on Friday, 06 September 2024, with the game scheduled to start at 18h00.

The South Africans were drawn in Group K with Uganda, Congo and South Sudan.

Statement:

Gates will open at 15h00 on Friday, 06 September 2024 and tickets are priced at R30 (Children, Scholars and Student), R60 for Adults, and R140 for Family (2 adults + 2 children).

The tickets are available at TicketPro, all Spar supermarkets (QuickSpar and SuperSpar), SASOL, ENGEN, SHELL, PowerFashion and JAM Clothing.

After facing Uganda at Orlando Stadium, Bafana Bafana will travel to South Sudan to play their second match in the group on Tuesday, 10 September 2024. Coach Hugo Broos' team are in Group K where they have been pitted against Uganda, Congo and South Sudan.
