Many South Africans are still loving the kit which the likes of Benni McCarthy and Lucas Radebe were wearing in France in 1998.
Despite missing out on qualification for the knockout stages just two years after winning the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations, many still refer to the team as one of the best in SA history.
During the current international break SkySports now selected 18 international football kits, which made history due to their unusual designs and Bafana made the list.
SkySports readers were asked to vote for their favourite "loud" kit, and South Africa finished in 16th out of the 18 ranks, receiving just 772 of the votes.
Meanwhile, the crazy kit of Mexico's goalkeeper from the 1994 FIFA World Cup is leading the ranking after receiving over 4 900 votes.
