The South African national team recorded a 1-0 win over Sudan at the Orlando Stadium on Sunday, this off the back of a disappointing 2-0 loss to Ghana in the Cape Coast during midweek.

However, Bafana were able to bounce back quickly and with a goal from Lebogang Phiri, secured their first three points in group C of the 2021 AFCON qualifiers.
South Africa will only resume AFCON qualification fixtures in August next year although will be positive going in to the new year with their first competitive win under the mentorship of Head Coach Molefi Ntseki.
