The Premier Soccer League has explained the rules for the semi-finals of the MTN8 and confirmed that there will be no extra time for the games.

Mamelodi Sundowns, Bidvest Wits, Chippa United and Cape Town City are all involved in this year's MTN8 semi-finals, with the team having already played their first round games.
Wits beat City 3-0 in their first-leg game at the Bidvest Stadium, while Chippa and Sundowns drew 0-0 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
Below are competition rules as supplied by the league:
Please be advised of the following Rules in relation to Saturday and next Wednesday's MTN8 semi-final second leg fixtures:
"6.4 Both semi-final ties will consist of two legs played on a home and away basis. The club which scores a higher aggregate number of goals in the two matches of each semi-final tie will qualify for the final.
6.4.1 If after the end of regular time of the second match of each tie, the two clubs have scored the same number of goals during the two matches, the club which will have scored the greater number of away goals will qualify for the final.
6.4.2 If the number of away goals is also the same the winner of the tie will be determined by the taking of penalty kicks according to the Laws of the Game. There will be no extra time.

City are scheduled to host Wits at Cape Town Stadium in the second-leg game on 17 September, with Sundowns hosting Chippa at Loftus Stadium in the other game on 21 September.
