To say that Kaizer Chiefs have had a disappointing season is perhaps the understatement of the year, Their performances have led to many rumours about potential signings coming in, but before that happens which players should Chiefs release?
Levy Mokgothu and Siyanda xulu have barely had a kick of the ball this season, and their contributions have been non-existant so they could be axed at the end of the season, even though many fans still have faith in Xulu.
Morgan Gould has not had a very happy stay at Naturena, and he is another player who could be shown the door. Sula Matovu has not featured much in the Amakhosi Midfield this season, fans have only seen glimpses of him so it has been difficult for them to have a clear opinion of whether or not he is worthy of being a Chiefs player.
George Maluleka has blown hot and cold this season and people are divided about whether or not he deserves more time at Chiefs. Siphelele Mthembu and Bongani Ndulula have struggled to have any real goal scoring impact and have been very underwhelming when given chances by Khomphela.
Edward Manqele has struggled for fitness as well as form this season and he is another player who might not survive the chop.
