Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud appeared to take a swipe at France teammate Kylian Mbappe for not passing the ball to him during their 3-0 win over Bulgaria on Tuesday night.
Giroud replaced Karim Benzema in the first half and went on to bag a brace in the world champions' final warm-up encounter ahead of the 2020 UEFA European Championship earlier this week.
According to Marca, however, the Chelsea star seemed to aim a little dig at his teammate Mbappe after the match, claiming that calls for the ball were ignored.
"With two good assists from (Wissam) Ben Yedder and (Benjamin) Pavard, I was able to finish the game well, but we could have scored more goals if we had been more efficient.
"I'm happy to have helped the team, I am not bitter."
Former France international Johan Micoud was also not quite pleased with Mbappe, especially regarding his attitude when he came off in the second half.
"It's becoming embarrassing. And even when he came off," Micoud said.
"You have just played two warm-up matches, it has gone very well and when he came off the pitch it was as if the team had lost 4-0. His disappointment… at some point, it is not all about you."
