La Liga Result: Real Madrid 3-0 Levante Date: 17 October 2015 Venue: Santiago Bernabeu Cristiano Ronaldo broke Real Madrid's all-time scoring record on Saturday as he led the club to a 3-0 win over Levante in La Liga. Los Blancos felt hard done by in the 16th minute when they seemed to win a penalty but the referee waved play on. Ronaldo got the ball in the area and went down after a clumsy tackle from Simao, yet nothing was given. However, the breakthrough arrived nonetheless. Marcelo played a slick one-two with Ronaldo before surging forward and smashing a shot into the near corner of the goal. Keylor Navas made a sublime save in the 29th minute to keep the hosts in front. Deyverson rose high in the box to send a super header towards the bottom corner but the Madrid keeper somehow saved. In the 30th minute Ronaldo found his record-breaking goal. Toni Kroos played the ball to the Portuguese superstar who took a few touches before hammering the ball into the back of the net to break Raul's all-time Real Madrid goal-scoring record. Ghilas had a great opportunity in the 64th minute to pull one back for the visitors but Navas was on hand to claim the loose ball just in the nick of time. In the 81st minute the result was secured as Jese Rodriguez netted the third for Real. Vazquez played it on for the substitute who beat Simao before firing into the top corner of the goal.
