Real Madrid winger, Gareth Bale, currently holds the season record for the fastest Real Madrid squad sprint.
The Welshman reached a top speed of 34.29 km/h during the match against Almeria and was also the pace setter in a further five domestic league games.
James: I Came Here To Win Trophies
Bale's pure pace sets him apart as a high-performance machine within Los Blancos and in the most important events of 2014, he demonstrated he has more than enough horse power to win any race, with his sprinting ability.
Besides being the fastest in Real Madrid, it is these bursts of speed that have played a key role in clinching Reals four 2014 titles.
One of Bale's most impressive runs, which will go down in the club's history books, came during the 'Copa del Rey' final, as the Welshman sprinted 59.1 metres in 7.04 seconds, a feat which he rounded off by scoring the winning goal against Barcelona in the 84th minute.
In distance terms, Bale runs an average of 8.69 km every match, which ranks him fourth in the team, behind James, Marcelo and Pepe.
Bale won the Copa Del Rey in his first season at Madrid, scoring in the final against rivals Barcelona, then followed it up with the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup
