Switzerland rallied back from two goals down and thumped Belgium 5-2 to advance to the UEFA Nations League finals.
Roberto Martinez was without the services of record scorer Romelu Lukaku, as Eden Hazard, Dries Mertens and Thorgan Hazard led the attack.
The Belgians got off to the perfect start as Thorgan Hazard pounced on a poor back pass before firing past Jan Sommer from close range after two minutes.
Hazard was a real threat for most of the first half and he completed his brace in the 17th minute with a clinical finish into the bottom corner after being gifted time and space to shoot.
The Swiss were then awarded a penalty after 26 minutes, which Ricardo Rodriguez converted to reduce the deficit.
Five minutes later, the hosts restored parity as an error from Vicent Kompany gifted the ball to Xherdan Shaqriri, who picked out Haris Seferovic to fire home at the far post.
Switzerland managed to take the lead just before the break as Seferovic completed his brace with an impressive first-time finish from the edge of the box.
After a quiet start to the half, the hosts extended their lead in the 62nd minute when Elvedi glanced home a header off Shaqiri's cross to get the two-goal cushion needed to top the group.
Siwitzerland rounded of the scoring with five minutes remaining, with Seferovic completing his hat-trick with a powerful header past Thibaut Courtois.
The Swiss have now qualified for the semi-finals after finishing top of the group, while Belgium end the campaign in second spot.
