Group E
Benfica 3-0 Barcelona

Barcelona's disastrous start continued after suffering a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Benfica.

The home side took a shock lead after three minutes, with Darwin Nunez firing past Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

Rafa Silva doubled the lead for Benfica with 21 minutes remaining, while Nunez made the game safe with his sceond 10 minutes later.

The Catalans also finished the game with 10 men after Eric Garcia was shown a red card in the final three minutes.

Bayern Munich 5-0 Dynamo Kiev

Bayern Munich made it two wins from two matches after thrashing Dynamo Kiev 4-0 at the Allianz Arena.

Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring from the penalty spot on 12 minutes, before he doubled the lead for the Bavarians in the 27th minute.

Serge Gnabry made it 3-0 on 68 minutes before Leroy Sane and Eric Choupo-Moting completed the rout.

Group F
Manchester United 2-1 Villarreal

Manchester United struck late in the second half to secure a 2-1 win over Villarreal at Old Trafford.

Cristiano Ronaldo broke a record befre he even stepped on the pitch as he made his 178th appearance in the competition, breaking Iker Casillas' record of 177.

The Yellow Submarine deservedly took the lead in the 53rd minute when Paco Alcacer turned home Groeneveld's cross.

United were back level seven minutes later as a through Alex Telles's superb volley, but it was left to Ronaldo to get the winner in the fourth minute of time added on.

Atalanta 1-0 Young Boys

Atalanta registered their first win in the group after defeating Young Boys at the Gewiss Stadium.

Matteo Pessina bagged the game's only goal in the 68th minute.

Group G
RB Salzburg 2-1 Lille

Higly-rated teenager Karim Adeyemi put the hosts two goals up after converting two penalties.

Burak Yilmaz pulled a goal back for Lille on the hour mark, but the home side held on to claim their first win in Group G

Wolfsburg 1-1 Sevilla

Sevilla battled back to secure a point away to Wolfsburg on Wednesday evening.

Renato Steffen put the Bundesliga side ahead in the 48th minute, but Ivan Rakitic salvaged a point after converting a penalty on 87 minutes.

Group H
Juventus 1-0 Chelsea

Juventus maintained their winning start in Group H with a 1-0 victory over defending champions Chelsea.

European Championship winner Federico Chiesa got the all important goal for the hosts just after the halftime break.

Zenit 4-0 Malmo

Zenit St. Petersburg got their first win of the group stages after thrashing Malmo 4-0 on Wednesday evening.

Claudinho got the hosts on their way on nine minutes, before Daler Kuzyayev, Aleksei Sutormin and Wendel completed the rout in the second half.
