Zinedine Zidane's men secured their spot in a third successive European Cup final after defeating Bayern Munich 4-3 on aggregate in the semi-finals.

Los Blancos could become the first side in the Champions League era to win the trophy three times in a row.

Liverpool, meanwhile, last reached the final of the competition in 2007, where they lost 2-1 to AC Milan in Athens.

Jurgen Klopp's men defeated AS Roma 7-6 on aggregate in the last round to secure their spot in the final and they will be looking to win the tournament for a sixth time.

These two sides last met in this competition in the 2014/15 season in the group stages, with Los Blancos winning both encounters.

Real Madrid will be looking to Cristiano Ronaldo to get among the goals. The Portuguese has netted 15 goals in the competition this season, while Liverpool's Mohamed Salah has 10 European strikes so far this term.
