On Tuesday, the governing body of European football named the best XI of the continent's biggest club competition in 2021/22, with top goalscorer Karim Benzema unsurprisingly headlining the star-studded team.
The Frenchman scored 15 goals in 12 matches in the campaign, capping off his tournament with a solid performance in Los Blancos' 1-0 win over Liverpool in the final this past Saturday.
Furthermore, Benzema was also named UEFA's Player of the Season, while his teammate Vinicius Junior, the scorer of the only goal against the Reds in Paris, was named alongside him in the Team of the Season and was also announced as UEFA's Young Player of the Season.
