After the Reds booked their place in the final of Europe's elite club competition with a 4-2 aggregate over Villarreal on Tuesday night, Salah said he hoped to face Los Blancos in the showpiece's decider in France on 28 May.
On Wednesday night, Real staged an incredible comeback to advance past Manchester City at the semi-final stage to cement their spot in the final, and Salah has since admitted it will be a game of revenge following their loss to the Spanish giants in the same competition in 2018.
"Well, I'm so excited, our team is so excited about it," he said, according to the Metro.
"I said before the game that I wanted to play Madrid in the final, I'm sure it's going to be a tough game.
"They beat a lot of good teams, we just need to be focused on the game.
"First of all, we still have a few games in the Premier League, we have to finish them in the best way possible."
Asked if the final is a chance for revenge, he replied: "Yeah, we lost in the final, it was a sad day for all of us. It's revenge time."
Salah has enjoyed an incredible 2021/21 campaign so far, having contributed to 44 goals in 54 matches across all competitions.
Real, meanwhile, will once again look to rely on the form of French superstar Karim Benzema, who has scored 43 times and assisted a further 14 strikes in 43 games since August last year.
