Karim Benzema has become the latest Real Madrid player to voice his feelings about Mohamed Salah's comments ahead of the UEFA Champions League final this weekend.
On Saturday, Liverpool will take on Los Blancos in what is a rematch of the 2018 UCL final in Kyiv, Ukraine, a game the 29-year-old Egypt international remembers as bringing him the worst moment of his career.
It is for that reason that Salah has previously admitted to wanting to take revenge on the Spanish giants, remarks that do not appear to have gone down well at the 13-time European champions.
In a recent interview in the build-up to the match, this season's top goalscorer in the competition so far said that perhaps Jurgen Klopp's side believes the trophy already has their name on it.
"Liverpool have a lot of confidence. Maybe they think they already won the game," he said, according to KingFut.
"Maybe they think this isn't the same Real Madrid as before, that they're favourites. Salah can say whatever he wants."
Benzema has scored 15 times in Europe this season already, including 10 knockout goals.
Salah, meanwhile, has hit the back of the net on eight occasions in this UCL campaign.
