Manchester United have reportedly made a final decision on head coach Erik ten Hag's future ahead of their FA Cup final against Manchester City this weekend.
According to football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, the Dutchman is expected to take charge of the Red Devils for the last time on Saturday.
The 53-year-old has come under severe pressure in recent weeks following his side's disappointing Premier League season.
New co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, overseeing all football operations, is believed to now be looking for the former Ajax Amsterdam manager's replacement.
The news comes amid Chelsea's recent parting of ways with Mauricio Pochettino, who has previously been linked with United.
It is said Ten Hag will bid farewell to the club even if the Red Devils defeat crosstown rivals City in the final of the FA Cup on the weekend.
United's eighth-place finish in the Premier League this term is their lowest in their history in the competition, and has left Ratcliffe believing change is necessary.
As well as Pochettino, ex-Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel is also a candidate for the job, along with Ipswich Town's Kieran McKenna, and England's Gareth Southgate.
Ten Hag was appointed at United in 2022 and won the Carabao Cup in an impressive first season in England, in which his side finished third on the table.
The team's poor performances this time around, however, have to led to questions over the suitability of Ten Hag's playing philosophy and his command of the group.
