Mario Mandzukic and Cristiano Ronaldo both played starring roles as Juventus came from behind to defeat Napoli 3-1 in Serie A on Saturday evening.

The hosts went for a attacking front three of Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic.

After a lively start from Juve, Napoli silenced the home fans when Dries Mertens opened the scoring after 10 minutes with a neat finish form close range.

The hosts were level in the 26th minute as Ronaldo's impressive cross found Mario Mandzukic, who sent a fine header past Davide Ospina.

Allegri's charges ended the half as the stronger of the two sides, although they were unable to change the scoreline and went into the break all square.

Juventus completed the turnaround in the 49th minute as Ospina failed to clear an effort from Ronaldo, which allowed Mandzukic to poke home from close range.

Napoli were then reduced to 10 men on the hour mark after Mario Rui received his marching orders for a second bookable offence.

The home side eventually extended their lead in the 76th minute, as Ronaldo turned provider yet again, picking out Leonardo Bonucci, who poked home from six-yards out.

The Oldy Lady will now turn their attention to Tuesday's UEFA Champions League clash against Young Boys.
