A former Manchester United star was reportedly involved in an altercation with a number Lazio supporters on a flight after the team's 2-2 draw with Cagliari on Sunday evening.

According to Corriere Dello Sport, Portugal winger Luis Nani became embroiled in a scrap with a number of Le Aquile fans after they criticised his performance during the team's airplane trip back to Rome.
It has been claimed that the group of fans used strong language towards the former Old Trafford star before the plane took to the sky.
Nani apparently decided to approach the fans who were verbally abusing him, with a minor scuffle then breaking out.
Although no punches were reportedly thrown, the Italian newspaper claimed that the 31 -year-old Portugal star had to be held back by teammates Lucas Leiva and Wallace at one stage.
Things eventually calmed down and the flight to Rome commenced once everyone returned to their seats. When the plane finally landed in Rome, the fan in question was kept behind and allowed to leave only after the squad had disembarked.

Nani, who is on loan at Lazio from Valencia, has played just over 500 minutes of football for the Roman club so far this season, scoring three goals and assisting two further strikes.
