Having won the UEFA Conference League in his first campaign with Roma, he then led them to the UEFA Europa League final last season, but it seems his fate at the Stadio Olimpico will follow a similar path to that at his previous sides in this term.
With his contract set to expire at the end of this campaign, coupled with the team's recent poor run of form, the three-time Scudetto winners are rumoured to already have an eye on a replacement for Mourinho.
According to Football Italia, former Juventus and Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is the man the chiefs at Roma view as the man to succeed the Setubal native.

The same report claims that the ex-Inter Milan manager could prove costly for Roma as he is expected to demand between €7 and €8 million (R141 and R161 million) a year in salary, on top of being backed in the transfer market, something Mourinho himself has been vocal about the lack of at the Stadio Olimpico in recent months.
