Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray are keen on signing the Argentina and AS Roma star in the January transfer window as they look to replace injured Mauro Icardi in attack.

This is according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, who claims the club have initiated talks with Roma as they look to sign him either on an initial loan move or a permanent transfer.

Icardi is set to miss the rest of the season through injury, leaving Galatasaray an option short going forward.

The 31-year-old Argentine suffered a cruciate ligament tear earlier this year and is only expected to return to fitness in June next year.

Dybala, meanwhile, has struggled for form this season so in Italy, having only scored two goals across all competitions.

The experienced attacking midfielder was tipped to leave swap Rome for Saudi Arabia at the start of this campaign, but decided against joining a club in the oil-rich Gulf country.
