Dybala 'Offered' To European Giants

Dybala 'Offered' To European Giants

Paulo Dybala has reportedly been offered to a major European club.

With Argentina star Paulo Dybala reported to be available for as little as €12 million, the diminutive playmaker is now said have been offered to a massive European club.

The Laguna Larga native had a subdued end to his Juventus career, but at AS Roma, he seems to have found a new lease of life.

Since signing for the Giallorossi in July 2022, Dybala has scored 31 goals and provide 15 assists in 64 appearances, even finding his way back into the Argentina set-up and help them win the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The 30-year-old is now approaching the final year of his deal in Rome, and at the end of the season, the Serie A giants will likely try to re-sign their star player.

However, they are expected to face stiff competition from a number of top European sides because, according to Sport, a €12 million (R246 million) release clause kicks in for teams outside of Italy at the end of the campaign, but Barcelona are at the front of the queue, having reportedly been offered the player.

The LALIGA champions are rumoured to have had an appreciation for the playmaker for many years, and it now appears the transfer it could happen.

However, although the five-time Italian champion is the type of player the Spanish giants would love to have, it seems his signing is not an immediate concern.

The Blaugrana reportedly see the need to sign a speedy left winger during the off-season as an urgent one, but because Dybala's salary is not as high as it once was, his acquisition is seen as economically viable.

West Ham United are believed to also be keen on Dybala, but the player is said to prefer a move to LALIGA, where Barca's only competitors to sign him are said to be Atletico Madrid.
