Real 'Unhappy' With Vinicius' Remarks On Racism

Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly unhappy with star player Vinicius Junior's recent comments in the media.

The Brazilian forward stated that Spain should be removed as hosts of the 2030 FIFA World Cup if the racism gets worst in football.

The Madrid star has been on the receiving end of horrible racist abuse by fans in the last year and has often called out LALIGA to impose harsher sanctions.

According to Sport, the club were not happy with the comments made by Brazilian forward and are starting to lose patience with the player.

Sport, which is a Catalan newspaper, adds that Los Blancos feel that Vinicius does not embody the image they want to show the world and they could consider offloading the player as a result.

Vinicius was reportedly the subject of a big bid from the Saudi Pro League in the recently closed transfer window, but the player has no desire to leave Europe anytime soon.

Meanwhile, Fellow Madrid player Dani Carvajal disagreed with Vinicius claims about Spain being racist.

"I think LaLiga is improving and developing protocols regarding racism to ensure that the unruly people who go to stadiums to insult others based on their skin colour can't attend sporting events anymore," Carvajal said, as per Goal.

"But beyond that small group of people, I don't believe Spain doesn't deserve to host the World Cup. "

"It's a country with a very high cultural diversity; we shouldn't doubt that it's not racist because there are many cultures in our country. I grew up in a neighbourhood in Leganés surrounded by many nationalities, and I can proudly say that we are not a racist country."
