With Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba still heavily linked with Real Madrid, a certain Los Blancos midfielder believes he would learn a lot from the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner.
Since forming part of Real's first team two years ago, 21-year-old Uruguayan international Federico Valverde has established himself as a key member of the squad, especially under Zinedine Zidane this season.
The box-to-box midfielder has started 10 of the Spanish giants' 19 matches in LaLiga so far, while he has also impressed in the UEFA Champions League.
With the club being linked with a move for Pogba, who has played just eight times for the Red Devils since the start of the campaign, Valverde feels the Frenchman is somebody he can acquire a lot of knowledge from.
"Pogba? I live quietly. I try to enjoy it when I put on this shirt," he said, according to SportsOn.
"If in the future he has to come obviously I'm going to learn a lot from him as a player."
Valverde has made 45 appearance for Real since his debut, scoring two goals and assisting a further three strikes.
