A Getafe defender has come out and denied that he allegedly racially abused Real Madrid's Eder Militao during a heated exchange on Saturday.
Los Blancos got back to winning ways on Saturday evening with an impressive 3-0 victory away to Getafe to move level points with FC Barcelona.
Marc Cucurella, a former FC Barcelon player, was involved in a heated exchange with Militao in the second half, while there claims surfacing on social media that Getafe defender allegedly used a racial slur.
However, Cucurella claims there was no racial abuse, but he did use some flagrant language towards the Los Blanocs defender.
"I would like to clarify that in no moment did I insult Militao. My words were 'Shut your f*cking mouth'," he posted on Twitter.
"I apologise if anyone has been offended by this.
"These are the only statements I have made and that I will make about it. Thank you."
