After another lacklustre display from Gareth Bale this past weekend, the Welshman has been accused of no longer giving his full attention to football.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, former Real Madrid manager Fabio Capello shared his view that Bale, who joined Los Blancos in 2013, has fallen out of love with the game.
"Bale is a potentially fantastic player," Capello said.
"My impression that football is no longer a priority in life. Bale seems to be a distracted player- I like him a lot, he's strong and fast, perfect for modern football.
"If you want to be a champion today, though, you have to be 100% attentive and focused only on your sporting life."
Bale has been out of sorts at Real this season, where he has recorded two goals and two assists in 14 appearances, and has been strongly linked with a move away from the LaLiga giants.
