A former Portugal international has claimed new words will have to be made up to describe five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, who recently won his second trophy with his country.

The Juventus forward has been at the top of his game for longer than a decade, during which he has won countless trophies at both club and international level.
Ex-Portugal star Paulo Futre has now insisted he has run out of words to describe his compatriot, saying he is bored of using the same ones.

"I have already said many times that they will have to invent new adjectives in the dictionary, other fantastic words, because Cristiano Ronaldo has used all of them," he said, according to Sports On.
"I would stay with two words that I do not get tired of, legend and myth.
"All the rest: genius, fantastic, phenomenon, extraterrestrial, wonderful, unique, I'm tired of saying them."
Ronaldo has scored 689 career goals for club and country in his career so far.
