Six years after completing the controversial switch from the Camp Nou to the Parc des Princes, it appears that the club the 31-year-old wants to join the most is the Blaugrana.
Les Parisiens and the Brazilian are believed to be doing everything in their power to come to an amicable solution over the attacker's future, with both parties having become disillusioned with their relationship, and according to Sport, a move back to Catalonia is what everybody involved is leaning towards to.
While the Selecao's all-time top goalscorer welcomes the idea of making a return to the home of the LALIGA champions, there is acknowledgement from both PSG and Barca that such a transfer would be complicated, and that it could require the prolific winger to sign for one of the Saudi Pro League's big teams first.
Qatar and Saudi Arabia have a complicated association, but the same report claims that the state-owned teams – Les Parisiens' owners are Qatar Sports Investments – are willing to put their differences to the side in order to complete a move for the world-class forward.
Neymar is believed to be apprehensive about giving the green light on a move to Saudi Arabia, but would be willing to complete the transfer if it allows him to then be loaned to Barca next season.

Barca's financial situation makes it a difficult move to complete and the ex-Santos wonderkid would have to take a massive wage reduction if he is to play under his former teammate Xavi Hernandez, but the five-time European champions seem eager to make the transfer come to fruition as they acknowledge that it would not only be beneficial in sporting terms, but from a sponsorship perspective as well.
