With Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi often compared to one another, African midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey has sided with the Argentine in the never-ending debate, saying he is a "god".
The two football superstars have dominated the sport over the past 15 years, winning 11 Ballons d'Or between them, with Ronaldo claiming five and Messi picking up six.
Asked to choose between them, Ghana midfielder Lomotey, who plays for Extremadura in Spain's second tier, went with the 32-year-old Argentina international.
"I will go for Messi, he is a god. He's the best player in the world now."
The 22-year-old was also asked which team he dreams of playing for.
"I want to play at the Camp Nou. Barcelona is my dream club and playing for them will be a happy moment in my life because it is the club I support, and I know it will happen one day," he added.
