The Portuguese superstar scored a penalty as Juventus came from behind to beat Hellas Verona 2-1 on the weekend. However, after the game he was once again asked about his actions in the Bianconeri's match against Atletico in midweek, and had some sharp words for his critics.
"People like to talk too much. That's all. People are stupid and talk too much," he told Sky Italia in response.

Ronaldo also addressed Juve's win against Verona, and insisted his side deserved another penalty.
"The important thing is that the team won," he added.
"We were tired after the Champions League, which is only natural after the travelling, the intense match in Madrid, but we were able to get it done.
"The referee didn't give the penalty, it doesn't matter, I thought it was a penalty."
